The Macedonian Call
The apostle Paul gripped with a vision in the night, obeyed the direction of the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel to a remote people.
Our Vision for Missionary Service
We possess a sense of vision, and a burden to “help” in Southeast Asia – We’re compelled by the love of Christ for ministry in these regions.

Word Obedience
Christ Love
Soul Burden
Our Commitment
International Missions Project is committed to an ongoing development of a comprehensive missions strategy to fulfill the gospel mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ based on Matthew 28:18.
We are committed to:
Going and being active in the work of missions
Preaching the message of Christ
Assisting indigenous churches and leaders
Training and encouraging missions in a cross-cultural context
This persuasion is based on the revelation of God’s Word which teaches that personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—His death on the cross, and His resurrection from the dead—is the only means of salvation and eternal life for mankind (Acts 4:12).
Servant Ministry
Jesus declared Himself as a servant, and that one’s greatness is marked by the depth of serving (Mark 10:45; Matt. 23:11).
The servant minister is:
Committed to pointing people to Christ, not self
Building relationships with the unchurched through encouragement, affirmation, and blessing
Focused on preaching the gospel and making disciples
The non-negotiable call for all missionaries is to practice servant ministry—to unbelieving friends as well as members of the body of Christ.
Culture
Missionaries must understand and embrace the culture in which they live and serve.
Bonding includes language, customs, food, and lifestyle.
Paul modeled this: “To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews … I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” – 1 Cor. 9:22–23
Failure to embrace culture can lead to marginalization, pride, or perceived indifference, limiting effectiveness.
Community
Missionaries must value the depth of community in Eastern cultures, which align with biblical values.
Western individualism does not always translate well in Asia.
The “bonding” missionary is received as a trusted friend and co-worker by living out authentic community values in philosophy, practice, and lifestyle.
Disciple Making
More than preaching, missionaries are called to make disciples.
A disciple is a fully committed follower of Christ who seeks to model and mentor others.
Disciple making requires mentoring, relationship-building, and an “others-centered” focus.
Church planting and establishing churches is central to disciple making.
Paul emphasized this in 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.”
